HB390 - Splitting Maul 8lbs with Glassfibre Handle

8lb Canadian Pattern Log Splitter with a Polypropylene coated fibreglass core. The Polypropylene acts as a shock absorber which protects not only the shaft but the users hands from shock of overstrike etc. This tool can be expected to far outlast its Hickory counterpart, as it is not affected by environmental conditions such as moisture and hot/dry areas.

Our Log splitters consist of wedge shaped tool heads made from hand forged steel in the preferred shape for their size. Unlike a Felling Axe, the wedge-shaped blade opens up the log without been trapped in the wood fibres.

Our fibreglass handles exceed the requirements of BS 876 for construction and head to handle bonding.
